CAROLYN MONTROSE DUB, M.S. (She/her/hers)

I created Industrious Agency because I want to give people the confidence to share their unique gifts with others at work. Since pivoting my career from marketing to learning and development in 2015, I've tapped my instructional design, leadership and presentation skills to develop and teach workshops, deliver keynote speeches and program company summits for Fortune 500 companies. All are designed to help teams garner the insights and inspiration needed to win business, launch a big idea, test a concept, solve an issue or communicate better. I also work with individual clients who want to pivot their careers, build a freelance business or test a startup concept.

Since starting Industrious, I have been a guest on the TODAY Show, a speaker at the Girlboss Rally at UCLA, panel moderator at The She Leads Media Conference and featured as part of Advertising Week’s AW Moms campaign alongside Katie Couric. I’ve also been included in Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global round-ups and was a guest on The Dreamcatchers career podcast. Most recently, I was a speaker at The Women in Retail Conference, headlined by Diane von Furstenburg.

I am also an Associate Faculty member at Columbia University where I co-teach two sections of The Compelling Communicator and a Career Success Coach at Fullstack Academy where I help students and alumni launch cybersecurity careers.

Prior to Industrious and NYU, I was an executive at Condé Nast, PEOPLE Magazine/PEOPLE.com and Men's Health. Along with talented teams, I pioneered all brand storytelling, partnerships, branded content creation, international events and advertising campaigns that drove record-breaking ad revenue. Coverage of these initiatives has appeared in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, WWD, Vogue and AdWeek

Always a passionate learner, I have studied at Harvard University, have a Master's Degree from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Fairfield. In 2017, I obtained a, “Becoming an Entrepreneur Certification” from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
